Mutarjim
A whole translation office in one app. Arabic first.
A computer-assisted translation tool that grew from one translator's workbench into something a small agency can run: the editor, translation memory and glossaries, clients, translators, jobs, quotes, quality checks and invoices. Client documents stay on the agency's own machine.

What it does
- 01
An editor with memory
Source and translation side by side, sentence by sentence, with past translations and approved terms beside each line. Each client's memory is kept apart from the others.
- 02
Twelve languages, any pair
English, فصحى, Egyptian عامية and nine more, each pair with its own memory and glossary.
- 03
Quotes that know your memory
Words are counted against the memory, so repeats and close matches are priced below new text. Quotes print in Arabic and English.
- 04
A team on one board
Owners, project managers, translators, editors, reviewers and clients, each with their own view. Freelancers accept work orders and invoice from their own page.
- 05
Quality before delivery
Scored review with a pass mark per client, and checks that stop empty sentences or numbers that differ from the source.
- 06
Files go back the way they came
Word, XLIFF and translation-memory files from the other big tools go in and come back out with their formatting intact.
How it works
- 01
A client sends work
Through the portal: files in, a quote out, accepted in a click.
- 02
The team translates
Each file split among translator, editor and reviewer, with memory and glossary at hand.
- 03
It's checked and billed
Scored review, delivery through the portal, invoices in any currency.
